Yeah I did too. I'm not the person to ask about this as I don't understand it either. You're best to look it up on google or buy a PSP which has already got custom firmware.

are you playing the 2007 or 2008 game?
and are you using the database editor for the right game?

I have the 2008 game and yes I did download the right editor. and even if it was the wrong editor it would still work without this: # -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my changes file works fine so you must have it in the wrong place and you dont need the purpose: this file etc at the start of the changes
