I can no longer check on the results of my scouting as the game crashes if I try to go into that menu. Player search - Scouts.

I'm in the transfer window of my second season. I did send the scouts out quite a lot but now cannot check the star ratings on any of the players which means I'm buying blind.

It's very annoying and I wonder if there's a fix for the problem.

Is this only happening on one particular save game or does it still happen if you start a new game?

I was kind of hoping I wouldn't have to start a new game and lose the team I had put together.

I did start another game to see if the scouts worked and they did. It almost seems that if you scout too many players, the game breaks down.

But I wondered if there was a way around my current save game to open up the scout menu again.

To be honest i never use the scouts as they don't come up with anyone i don't already know. I tend not to rely on scouts and assistants that much.

I for one love to trawl through the market myself. I just narrow down searches e.g age groups

Also I think that it's better to go through the players yourself as you can get some quality players that the scouts wouldn't find.

It's really just a case of finding players with strengths in their respective positions eg

wingers need pace,crossing,dribbling etc

defenders need tackling, heading, positioning etc

I'm not trying to patronise as i'm sure you can work that out yourself, but try going through the market, you could find a gem.

I don't send the scouts out to find players. I go through the market myself and pick certain players. Then I send the scouts to watch them and see if they're good for the team. The scouts give a star rating. But now I just have to go by the players' stats and hope they turn out to be good for the team. The scouts' star rating is usually on the mark. But now I can't see the star ratings as I cannot get into the menu without the PSP freezing and then cutting out. It's very annoying.

this happens to me and to my mate who has this

i have a habit of scouting just about anyone and everyone whose player screen i go onto, im not sure of the exact number, but i guess if you scout too many players the game can't hold the data of them all on one screen

Has happened to me, I was a few years in and started to search for regens by copying attributes - the game crashes when you save the game. I have worked out when it is when i have used the scouting screen.

I started a new game since game above crashed and again a few years in, the game crashes again!! This time it is when i go to the game having picked my squad, the box in middle comes up & psp cuts out!
Mark or Olly please help?
