Football Manager 2008 has ruined my psp !

i wouldn't say its at all impossible. the fact that the game has the ability to crash and turn off the psp means it COULD break your psp. if the game frequently cuts out like it has on many psp`s then i would say this could have been the reason for it not reading them memory card.

No it can't. The game has no access to the psp's flash memory where it's firmware files ar e located. As a result, the game cannot destroy your psp.

The only way to do that is by damaging the firmware files by stopping in the middle of an update or something alike.

I think that if we do this as a group we should do different countries... Like one or two of us each do one country.

i work in the technology department for a major gadgets firm so i know what im talking about. there are many other ways other than the ones you are stating that could lead to your psp malfunctioning. although unlikely it is not at all impossible that a game plagued with bugs can damage your psp in some shape or form

good tip , you can buy an sony 8gb memory stick on ebay for £15 and you can trage into gamestation for £38 !!! Ive dun it 4 times now and got myself a wii for £60 !!!

Exactly the same happened to me. But I doubt it has something to do with the PSP.
