its is alost impossible to do well at derby. as soon as you take over youur 170k over your wage budget and are only given a max wage 0f 3.7 its almost as your set up 2 fail

tactic if i remember correctly, im not sure

but yeh stayed up by 4 clear points but left because the bolton job came up in january

I know I said I'd manage them but real life got the better of me and had loads of work to do... And now I'm ending my FMH20O8 career in Portugal... Maybe I'll be tempted into one last season if it goes well in Portugal, who knows?!

i have just finished my first season as Derby manager and managed to keep Derby up by 2 point. I sold off all the players on big money contracts which allowed me to sign better players and also relied on loan signings. Had a few shock results along the way, managing to beat Arsenal and Chelsea and drawing with Liverpool. I also put 5 past Portsmouth early in the season.
