I started a new game with Newcastle recently & in my first season, the chairman was expecting us to stay clear of relegation & gave 10.5m to spend along with a maximum wage of 36k. I thought that this was reasonable for a club fighting against relegation.
I finished 4th in my first season. Now, entering my second season but the board still expect me to stay clear of relegation & he gave 16.75m to spent. But to make things worse, my maximum wage now is 17k. Now my question is, what did I do wrong? Oh, I was not over the wage-budget in my first season.
The PC version used to have a similar problem where the assistant manager would reckon the team wasn't strong enough to stay up when you had managed to create a steady mid table side or better, but they fixed it. Needs fixing here too.
Also the lack of financial info makes it hard to work out what the board is up to with its salary and transfer budgets. Also it would be good to be able to change one in relation to the other like with the PC version.
