Ok so I'm really finding the game too easy with Jambo's tactic. I've been playing as various teams and would like to go back to my beloved Chelsea but if I use Jambo's tactic I'll win all 5 trophies in my first season and in the second season I'll win every game 4-0 and quickly get bored.

Does anyone know of a good basic tactic that will make the game realistic to play? It would be nice to be able to use full backs again too! Maybe just a 4-4-2 attacking or something? Please let me know if you have something basic you use that is competetive but not a "super" tactic. I'll probably leave all player instructions to the default to make things a bit harder.

First of all, if you use any of the big four, the game should not be too hard.

If you want a challenge, use that or any tactic with a L1 or L2 squad and try to get them to the Prem.

Or, try to win the Prem with Sunderland, or make Europe with Derby, etc.

Thanks Ridley. I'm gonna leave player instructions to the default and I'll take a look at 4-2-4, 4-4-2 and 4-1-3-2 and see which one I like the look of and go with that.

Try the bugels home tactic aswell, i've been using it and have been enjoying success but not winning ridiculously like with Jambo dave's. Which admittadely is an excellent tactic but I agree it can get boring once you've won everything over and over again!
