Playing a Bayern Munich game now and their reserves are playing in 4th division initialy. After loading them up with promising youngsters I got them up two divisions and they will play in 2nd division next season.

I found it quite interesting getting them up, even though I couldn't change their tactics or selections at all. Brings some sort of 2nd dimension to the process. Wouldn't work with English clubs though.

No it wouldn't because English clubs Reserve teams play in some obscure Leagues that I'm not even sure they are part of the Pyramid... Unlike the German (and Spanish as another example) who's reserves play in the same League structure.
