Formation / arrow changes mid match. How? (and other annoying match engine things)
So I'm just starting my third season, and am happy generally with FM2008. There is a lot of good things!
But, some areas seem to be going backwards. For example,
in a penalty shootout on Key Highlights, why do I have to watch each player taking the long, very slow walk each change?
Why do I spend 5 minutes watching a physio coming on and treating a player, then the player hobbling off, and THEN it goes back to speedy mode?
Why can I not change details in my formation (removing / adding arrows, repositioning etc) mid match? It means if a defender gets sent off, you cannot move things around. Very annoying.
Why do the majority of my substitutions take 7-10 minutes of game time to take effect. I have been in a situation where I could see one of my defenders was getting done time and again, I subbed him as he was knackered. Before my new, fresh defender came on, the AI made 2 subs, play restarted, and they got a corner and scored. Only then, 10 minutes gameclock time after I had 'confimred changes' did my new defender come on. Again, very annoying.
It's a shame as these few things mar my enjoyment of an otherwise very good game.

1. VERY ANNOYING I KNOW!!!
2. ONCE AGAIN, VERY ANNOYING... if anybody involved with the making of the game reads this, could you PLEASE fast forward them stupid bits...
3. Alot of people ask this and to be honest, I just think their plain ignorant... JUST SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF YOUR PLAYER LIST AND PRESS DOWN AGAIN AND YOU WILL BE ON THE PITCH!!!

Sorry for calling you ignorant but I wondered how to do that when I first got it but it took me 10 seconds to realise, and well, im not the brightest around... :thup:
