When i'm in January and i look at the player search, i filter expiring players(players who's contract runs out in 6-months), i can't approach to sign?

It done this when Defoe's contract had 6-months left, it wouldn't let me approach to sign?

It has changed from 6 months to around 6 weeks for Bosman transfers in the same nation.

Oh right, didn't know that.

So if i was Liverpool and i wanted to negotiate with a Man Utd player, i had to wait till 6 weeks left of contract.

I take it you can still negotiate 6-months if the player is based abroad?
