Is it me - I have just bought the game yesterday - but are the player prices just crazily high?! £97m for Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric for £25m, Pascal Cygan for £10m...?!

Is this a glitch? Do they decrease? I wouldn't call this realistic, at least compared to the FM 2007 prices.

Is this how it is now then - crazy prices, putting a lot of players out of reach?

Oh and Dentonboy, for some reason, I started a new game to have a look at Hamilton ricard (Shanghai) and I noticed that I was given about 50Million to spend.. i thought this was a glitch but I looked on the Transfer market and Luca Modric was £97 mil... For some reason they cost more when you control players in differant countries..

well i got them up to league one just staring a new season but really need to reinforce my team in the defense how are you going then in the league and which good players have you picked up??

Im just starting my 4th season (2nd season in League One) now... Ive got a few good players...

Ive got Charlie Sheringham and Luke Rodgers as Strikers... both got 25 goals each last season... Ive got Jean-Francios Christophe for free from Portsmouth who does well at DC... Also ive got Prem sides after my winger Saulius Mikoliunis (sumthin like that)...

Ive wrecked the finaces though (£997k bank balance)...

U gt any good ones??

yer if you get zamberla from Newcastle hes a good striker and go too the unattached list and youl find some good players from there i just built my team from that and just released most of my squad to get wage space and i bought Nathan Tyson and everton are after him i rejected a 5 million bid and now clubs from Europe are after him as well he scored 32 in 36 games so was quite pleased with that i treied to get charlie but wouldnt come and go on search and look for south american players and there could be some there thats what i did got a few bargains like the 17 year olds n that who come the year after hope that helps ill ave a look later to tell you the rest of the team

How do you get young players from S. America?! They constantly fail W. Permits for me!!!

The better thing to do is go on Search and type "no club"... Go right to the bottom and theres a list of about 75-100 regens aged between 15-20... it might take you a while, but take them all on trial and see what your coaches say about them... Most of them will be Blue Square players but I always get at least 2 who are good enough to play in Championship/Premiership... Plus their all from random unknown countries (like Wallis and Futuna and Tahiti) so they get international call-ups later... I got a few youngsters people from the Faroe Is. last season from tha list and I just signed a 14 (yes 14) year old from Andorra off of that list (my coaches say he has the potential to play in the Prem)...

And where can you Scout? I can only scout Uk&Ireland...

It is easier for permit probs if you have a feeder club in Poland or Belguim, so you can send them there to get nationality...
