ok im new to football manager on the xbox just got fm 08, and im in my third season with liverpool havent won a trophy yet, but ive tried to sign bojan from barcelona he wont come no matter what i offer him which is rubbish but ok.

looks like a good team yeah...
but not doing so good

any advice on tactics would be helpfull like the best formation and the best tactics? give me anythin thanks

I would play Silva aml and rodriguez amr, then have them swapping positions, with them both having arrows to the striker position
then play alonso dmc(or sign veloso or flamini) with gerrard amc
you should do allright with that

If your only playing with ten players then your not going to win any trophys. No left back LOL.

I would play 4-1-3-2 with the full backs full arrows the left and right midfielders with small arrows and the Centre midfielder full arrow. Winning tactic for me. Play gerrard in the middle of the three and he will score 25 to 30 goals per season

If any of the above ideas fail, then you should hire Carlos Quieroz as your assistant and use his formation - as a last resort. Seems to have instant success IF you have the right players.
