Go to Your Team Page, and under the search tab there is a Scouting Assignments sub tab. Go in there and select the scout you want to assign to next opposition.

Thanks for the reply, confirms my suspicions.
The annoying thing is some how one of my scouts was scouting the coca cola championship until i deleted the assignment!
it was a bit of a lie that it has all the features of the pc one.
