Have started with Arsenal to get a feel of the game and now on second season.
I dont know why but the majority of my players want to leave at even the slightest hint of another team being interested (especially Valencia who were after 5 of my players). Had to let Denilson go to Valencia but managed to keep Gallas, Toure, Clichy, Adebayor, Van Persie and Fabregras. Has anyone else had this?
Also anyone know how to get the best out of Fabregras?
I play with a 4-1-1-3-1 formation. The 3 being AM's with a DM & a MF.
I have the same problem, I had to sell Van Persie to Inter and Toure kept getting the arse cos I refused his move to Barca.
Winning the Premier League helped though and Toure was happy to stay.
With Fagregas I found that if you play an anchorman in midfield, i.e Gilberto, Flamini etc who is ultra defensive and doesn’t make many forward runs, this allows Fabregas to dictate the midfield. Put his through balls on often and creativity quite high. Robert’s your father’s step-cat Mildred.
yeah ive got that, ive had Gilberto or Flaminia basically staying back all match. Ive also put Fabregas as playmaker some matches. Theres an improvement from him for most matches.
Ive still got all my players at the mo
Ive also noticed that because i didnt get to the finals of league and FA cup the board that happy, even though i won the league and got euro semis. I mean there statisfied with my competition performances, you would think they would be happy winning the league rather then just reaching a cup final!
I sold Adebayor in 2010 after he scored hat fulls of goals.
I play a 3-4-1-2 formation. I have three central defenders, with the two on the end having side arrows to the full-back position. In midfield, i have a flat four with the two central midfielders pushing back to the defensive midfield role, and the two wingers going up the flank (all the way). I then have an attacking midfielder pressing up alongside the front two and two strikers.
I have Hugo Lloris in goal, Micah Richards on the left of the back three (i trained him as a left-back aswell). I have Ezequiel Garay in the middle and Johan Djourou on the right side. The two central midfielders I have that push back are Miguel Veloso and Javi Martinez (trained him to be more effective as a DM than an AM). My two wingers are Marcelo (left) and Giles Barnes (right). In the attacking midfield role is Francesc FÃ*bregas (deadly in this role), with Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela up top.
The profit of this is that for the past three seasons, I have won the Premier League with an average age of 22, 21 and 21. Also, for the fourth season, I was handed a transfer kitty of £266m, although it is yet to be touched going into January. By the time my young playerws turn 28, I can seel them all on and add that money to the probably transfer budget of around £400m by then and I can then have around £600m to spend on an entire new squad, filled with the best young players in the world.
And in answer to your question about FÃ*bregas, play him in attacking midfield, with an arrow upwards to join the two strikers. He is deadly. He get tons of goals and assists in this role.
