I have started a new career on 08, after thinking about whether to play with 08 or 07 until 09 comes out. As we all know, 08 has its regen, confidence problems which can spoil a bit of the long term fun. However, I decided to look forward, play with 08 and live with those bugs. After recently having tried 07 again, I find the 08 skin/game seems less responsive on my pc and the match engine stutters more often. It all feels slower. I assume my pc specs are more than fine with an amd x2 dual-core and 2 gb.

Does anyone else notice that the game is less responsive and slower compared to 07? I am not talking about loading and saving times which are clearly faster.

Hm goes better now for a moment, I changed some settings in the preferences menu. Hope it stays like this for a while.

It is, the main reason I play 07 more is the stuttering match engine.

I find 08 a little unresponsive at times, earlier I had to click three times to change my tactics!

I can live with it though.

I have the same specs and never noticed a difference.

My match graphics don't stutter either.

Do you have a PC guarding programme such as MacAfee? This takes priority over your game even when it's not running a check.

I use a light free anti-virus, Avira Antivir. What settings do you have in preferences and match engine if I may ask?

your right pim, thats why i have gone back to some of my legendary games on fm 07

You are patched to 8.0.2, right?
Because 8.0.1 was very unresponsive for a lot of people. 8.0.0 was the most responsive.
