ok i'm sorry for finding this thread a bit late, but did the OP and others that quotes stats from their game actually have every league/largest database running?
lets say that the youths of today are known..and those in say 2013 are unknown.
because SI's research is of respectable depth, they are able to judge youth quality out of a large pool...world wide.
when you load a game, and minimize on the active leagues/database size etc, you are essentially concentrating your game with highly rated youngsters (scouted by SI researchers), as they would have higher reputations and hence find their way into your game.
whereas when at 2013, and the game must generate youths, they are generated from a smaller pool as per your game setup.
i'm not saying that youth generation good as it is, it would definitely be improved in 2009. when quoting these stats however, so as to not be misleading or biased, the analysed save file should be running all leagues as well as the max available database.

They (SI Team) Should Release a path now!
its a very unrespectful manner.
there is still another 4/5 month till new game, they should release a new path to solve regens problems.

I quoted stats, and in the post said i was using largest DB, always do. Im about half way through making a list comparing players physical stats from 07 to those in 2028. But real life comes 1st, its summer, and i live by the beach :cool:
Oh and those bashing SI about it, i think you'll find they do indeed know its not perfect. But no more patches will be forthcoming. They're (probably) busy trying to fix the problem for 09 tho (I hope!)

yeah, the regens are getting more and more terrible as each game goes by. I did the same as you and looked up regens with +180 PA and although there was about 2 dozen players with that PA, none of them had decent stats at all.
