Carlos Tevez is the sort of striker I usually prefer. I rate him very highly as he shown what he can do for clubs further down and has been very good for Manchester United this season. He plays with a lot of heart, he is a good goalscorer and his work ethic is admireable.
Fernando Torres seems to be the one in the lights at the moment though with his recent season for Liverpool and fairly good Euro campaign. His pace and lethal touch for goal make him the most dangerous striker around. He can have his quiet games, however when he pops up with a goal at the end it is all worth it.
In conclusion, they are two different strikers with Torres being perhaps more of a poacher, and Tevez the one working behind him. However, simply because Torres's amazing season last term, I'll go for Fernando Torres.
I think Torres. His first season in Liverpool showed us everything. Liverpool's rotating system give him limited action. If not,he can be more success and scoring more goals.
Tevez is more to supporting striker. At Man Utd,he is more to assisting rather than scoring goal....just my point of view...
