Why is it that for example:

I have 5m in the bank for transfers, but as the new season begins and I get say 2M for transfers, why do I not have 7M? Why does the board take away my left over transfer money?
And where does it go? I havnt noticed my club ablance increasing?

Really annoying, I feel like i have to forcingly buy players just to use up the money otherwise it will just dissapear.

Am i being rly stupid? or missing somthing?? thanks

What is says in your transfer funds is just a number - it comes out of the main bank balance so it doesn't "go" anywhere when they reduce it. Transfer funds get recalculated at the start of each year based on a variety of things.

I've had the reverse happen to me. Wheelings and dealings in the transfer market at Morton in FM07 resulted in me having a £50 million transfer kitty. Come the end of the season the board kept that for the new season despite the fact that our large wage bill was causing us to lose around a million a month and our bank balance was now only £25 million.

Had I opted to spend the full transfer kitty I'd have plunged the club into terminal debts!
