yeah plan was - say I wanted to get from PC to laptop
1) make a zip of the file from PC - zips copier safer I think, are smaller too
2) copy Zip to key
3) backup the one on the laptop at the mo
4) copy on the new one and try and load
if it loads great, if not delete it and go back to old one etc
should be ok I think

Can you swap between PC's with the one saved game? Post #8
Personally, I just use a USB stick and have never had a problem. I can see why you might if you just drag the file back and forth, but I just use 'save as' in game and create the file on the USB stick, then load it directly from there in game on my laptop. That way, when I hit CTRL S to save game when I'm done, it updates the file on the stick and it's ready to load back into whichever machine I care to use.
If I'm concerned about losing data, I just 'save as' on the hard drive of which ever machine I'm on as a back-up, mostly cos I'm worried I'll lose the stick.

Can I recommend not using a CDRW and use your iPod as a Hard Drive? I find this is easiest as you can load your game straight from your iPod (provided it has connected). As always make sure you have a backup.
One bit of advice - if playing it on two PC's remember to take the CD from one place to the other! Otherwise you will get very frustrated - particularly if you leave it at work over the weekend! (Not that I've done that before......maybe.....)
