That was the original deal which Sky struck up with the football leagues and the EPl back in the 'ol days'.
It was challenged in 2000 but in order to garner a change there needed to be a consensus of at least 14 teams from the epl to agree to it, no prizes for guessing which teams did not want the new 'fairer' deal going through lol.
50% goes to the football league, 50% to the EPL/
Or I should say it did, Im unsure if its changed in the last few years.
So if he was talking about purely TV money, which is anounced pre season based on last years standing and this years tv games, the end of season should make no difference?
The only difference from a month to month basis I can work out would be 'additional live games' picked for your club?
Suppose it would help if we knew what team he was, where he finished last season, how many live games his team have been singled out for currently etc etc...
