That was the original deal which Sky struck up with the football leagues and the EPl back in the 'ol days'.

It was challenged in 2000 but in order to garner a change there needed to be a consensus of at least 14 teams from the epl to agree to it, no prizes for guessing which teams did not want the new 'fairer' deal going through lol.

50% goes to the football league, 50% to the EPL/

Or I should say it did, Im unsure if its changed in the last few years.

So if he was talking about purely TV money, which is anounced pre season based on last years standing and this years tv games, the end of season should make no difference?

The only difference from a month to month basis I can work out would be 'additional live games' picked for your club?

Suppose it would help if we knew what team he was, where he finished last season, how many live games his team have been singled out for currently etc etc...

Premier League TV money equates to €42.5M per season
Neyles, if your Euro's was not a mistake, then his £29.5k GPB would be abour correct then yeah?

So the EPL has an even playing field now in terms of TV money?

I'm playing as Macclesfield Town, just been promoted from the championship. I was asking because my board gave me £14m to spend on transfers, so I had got in a bit of debt and wasn't sure if I had misunderstood how much money I was getting.

No mistake; the amount is in Euro. I just don't know the precise conversion rate. And, yes, TV money is distributed evenly.

I would be disappointed if I got only £29.5k for TV money
