Default Transfering Game To New Patch

Hi, I have been playing the original patch for a few months now and am into my 5th season with Dagenham & Redbridge. Just wondering if i was to install patch 8.0.2 would i be able to keep my old game with all my progress?

Thanks,
Butler007

No you would have to uninstall the game and install the game again- also any save game in 8.0.2 will not be compatible with the original or 8.01 game.

Be careful though, I screwed something up when I uninstalled the game so I could go back to using 8.0.1. I re-installed FM downloaded 8,0,1, but all my save games had vanished.

I usually keep a save BEFORE patching then after loading it up AFTER patching, save it as a new game. SO if you don't like the new patch, you can always go back.
