This is an apology of sorts as well as a declaration of support I guess, although I am still very much in two minds about the problems that affect the game.
Recently, however, in 8.0.2 I finished my second season as Newcastle coming 5th and the board actually acknowledged I'd achieved their long term plans. In previous attempts sometimes even finishing 4th or 3rd has failed to produce such a positive reaction from the board, their line usually being I failed to meet their expectations.
So what I'm saying is maybe I was wrong to criticise the board confidence feature so vehemently elsewhere. I am still of the belief that it has problems and will continue to fail to recognise a players achievement of the long term expectations but I've now experienced that this is not ALWAYS the case.
So apologies for previous statements that displayed a strong belief in the faulty state of the board, it appears it must be some random bad luck that results in the boards dissatisfaction.
