also being a newcastle fan i havent seen martins or owen beat anyone to any ball this season. no pace/acceleration stat can help our forwards this season

i'd laugh if it wasn't so tragic! i'm a toon fan n'all, and i've barely seen any of our forwards at all this season...they are rarely included in our shoddy play.

not enough width, crosses not getting off the deck, no ball player in midfield. at least on this game you can right the wrongs of allardyce yourself

no reasonable replacement for shearer (not that he can ever really be replaced)...no creativity...two more titus brambles in the shape of rozenhal (bye bye dave - have fun in rome!) and cacrapa. sad, injury prone rejects from other clubs and violent, should be in prison midfielders. it's a sorry state of affairs at newcastle just now.

i'm off to bed to get some kip to prepare for saturday's humiliation...

since when has Martins ever used his pace? dubbed 'one of the fastest players' in Europe, I don't find him living up to that.

And Owen's pace has long gone.

And Laursen is terribly underestimated, he's a class defender, lots of strength, he can finish well too. I would actually recommend him.
