how do i uninstall the new patch so i can put the 8.0.1 back

What you have to do is uninstall the whole game, and then reinstall it. After reinstalling, patch the game with 8.0.1 and you'll be right again.

Seriously, why would you want to?

As far as I know the only way is to reinstall and download the old patch again. I can't imagine in what regard you think it's better.
