I'm a new player and have taken over Sao Paulo in Brazil. My team is dominating at 14-0-1 and I'm 30k under my weakly budget, but I'm losing about 350k per month and am now 250k in the red.
I have two transfers pending. One is for $6 million and the other is for $2.2, but those won't go through until July and it is only April.
Is it going to cost me to go into the red right now? Should I try to cut more weekly salaries so that I'm not losing money? Am I going to see an income boost in the playoffs or maybe after the season from the owners?
I have no idea how finances play out in this game. When I started the season, I thought I'd be fine since I went from being right at my weekly budget to 30k below it, yet I'm losing way too much money, or at least I think I am.
Any help or helpful links about finances would be great. Also, I have some young players I won't really need. What is the best way to increase their value for future transfers?
Going into the red by 250K isnt normally that much of a big deal, a good idea would be to flog players who you feel are back seat passengers in your team, i would also reccomend offering most of your players new contracts as you will be surprised that the odd few will normally take slight wage cuts
