I have only ever had one negative opinion about stone skin. It looks like metallic - something that cannot be denied so therefore far from unfair. I know that was kind of your brief - to make a metallic skin that was easier to use - so it actually should look the same. I know thousands of people use it and love it. Stone Skin is very successful in what it does.
My opinion though, and it has only ever been an opinion that I wanted to share, is that I value skins more that are graphically different. You don't need XML knowledge to do that, Sky Sports and MOTD skins have appeared that look great but XML changes are minimal if any.
I have never questioned commitment, effort or ability and never would.
It actually dissapoints me you have seemingly taken things to heart and feel the need to speak out like this. Something else that dissapoints me is the insinuation that Teedius and myself have been posting unfounded criticism on severel sites as if there is some vendetta against Stone Skin. We certainly come off as being big bad wolves to those that read your post and clearly people think the same having read it such as smithjurd below ('well put').
I'm not going to stop giving my opinion where I feel I need to.
