Junkhead is infamous around these parts
Default Team skins

Not really a request, but a question on viability. I'd try to do it myself if I had a bloody clue how, but since I don't, I wont waste everybody's time pretending I do...

ANYHOW. Back in the days of CM01/02, I always used to make my own menubars before starting a new game. I found it really got me into the team I had selected before I even started the game, what with the badge visable all the time, the menubar being the team's colours, and all that.

And now here we are where logo's and kits are displayed for almost every team on the game, I was wondering if it would be possible, in theory or practice to create a skin which would adapt dependant on which team you were. For example, the chameleon skin bought the colours down the menubar of the team who's screen you were on. But would it be possible for the skin to take the colours of the player controlled skin and then skin with that? and, for example, take the club badge from the relevant place in the FM folder, blow it up, and whack it, and maybe the kits, or the clubs name in a flashy font or something on the menubar?

Just wondering, as there only seems to be skins avaliable for english clubs and the big continental teams.

Why not try the Cameleon Skin? It's got the colours and Logo emblased across it (If You've got the logo insatalled)...

I know what you mean, and can see why it might be wanted, but i don't think its possible.

The game has 4 variables that the xml uses for each team in a skin - one for the badge, one for the league logo and one each for the club's background and foreground colours.

However, as I've said these are variables and change depending on the team in view they change.
