First of all, I'm new to this section of the forums, so I apologise in advance if I'm posting the thread that is the Good Player & Team Guide equivalent of "Chelsea- Who To Sign?". I searched and found a similar thread, which was archived.

So, what's the general concensus as to the latest, best and most comprehensive update?

personally im sticking with the 5.0.5 patch with data until all the summer transfers have been made.

I'm running 5.0.5, but can't remember whether I got the Data one or not.

Does the 5.0.5. with data expand the Spanish database at all, and get rid of the random Italian youngsters?

tbh im not sure but have a look at julio baptista if he is a am/fc then you got data and if he is DMC then you didnt

Heard something about an update comprising mainly youth changes as well as obvious transfers.

Makes it a whole different game with new youngsters IMO.

Anyone know of an update like this, or can recommend another?

Not one single bit, if you're looking to play in Spain try my Spanish update, but it is only for Spain mind you.

I'v been using the "Throw-In FMUpdate" and its rather good if your going to be playing in England. I'm not sure how recent the other european leagues are, or if their done at all, but it does update the UEFA and the main european leagues as far as holders, european qualifications, and relegations.

Its definately going to hold me over til the summer transfers are over and complete updates come. (Everton in the champs league, 17mil transfer funds, and 30mil in the bank is fun to try)
