- Up to date transfers as of the 9th of july, now 300 future transfers in Spain.
- Lower league transfers now included (still a work in progress).
- Getafe, Ourense, Burgos, Zamora, Girona, Algeciras and Melilla B-team and Youth players added + many more.
- Further tweaks to lesser clubs in Primera.
- Reputation tweaks on a number of players in Primera.
- Club reputaions enhanced in Segunda.
- Over 30 new board members added to first division clubs.
- Further Spanish Media Expansion (over 50 club websites added).
- All major clubs are now correctly assigned status of PLC, except for Barca and Real Madrid.
- Added Real Madrid debt (still looking for a good number for this)



FIRST VERSION

- Adds several hundreds of youth/b-team players to First and Second Division Clubs + a handful of gems into non-league clubs.
- Updates key players like Oleguer, Antonio Lopez, Sergio Ramos, Llorente, etc...
- Updates physical stats like Balance on several players worth 10's of millions. (Izbaga, Ronaldinho, Salgado, etc.)
- Tweaks key players at lesser clubs in Primera, in order to make league slightly more competitive, bottom clubs now nearly always scores at least 30 points. (May need feedback and tweaking!)
- Complete financial overhaul, club debt now added, (Barcelona 140 million euros).
- Future transfers option included as EDT file. (Eg. Morientes to Liverpool in January for example).
- Also a few summer 2005 transfers including, Van Bommel etc... + a number of new contracts signed.
- Manager reputations and skills tweaked + manager substitutions implemented.
- New managers/coaches added (Luis Enrique, Nadal, Caminero etc)
- B-team reputations tweaked.
- B-team player repuations and PA's tweaked.
- Player reputation at lesser clubs in Primera also tweaked.
- B-teams added: (Cadiz and Gefate + a few more)
- New weather for south of Spain added. (In need of feedback and tweaking!)
- Spanish Media added. (More suggestions welcome!)

Great stuff.

I can't remember though - did you alter the attributes of players on an individual and analytical basis, or did you just make large brush strokes in order to save time and get more done (I assume you do this on your own?)

Just curious. I enjoyed your previous version.

You won't find it as there isn't one for public consumption.

There are several hypothesis floating around and David Beckham takes center stage in quite a few of them.

Needless to say he (along with the rest of the galacticos; Ronaldo, Zidane, Raul & Carlos, but primarly Beckham alone) generate enough income to keep them afloat.

This is evidenced by the need to play them irrespective of form and tactics (David Beckham a defensive midfielder? David Beckham better than Figo?).

Butragueño came out previously and said that there was 160m available for this season, but that it was not for transfers alone - and included also wages and signing on fees and all the rest of it. So take from that what you will.

I'm also not aware of the ramifications of the new sports complex they are building? My business acumen is zero - but I could swear there is some kind of payoff for big projects like this even in their infancy. Maybe someone knows what I'm getting at?

It's clear I think that financially they are not as well off as they'd like to project. Figo is being effectively forced out of the club to write him off the wage bill for one thing.

I'll have to check what you've set them at but I think as long as you have tweaked Perez's attributes to allow him to be a domineering, interfering and rich moron they will still be capable of making those galacticos purchases regardless? If so that's realistic and the debt aspect makes it more interesting.

I don't actually play as them anymore but I like to check in on them for fun.

BTW can I suggest for the future update that you update preferred staff/players?

For some example, when I tweak it myself I set it so players like Figo, Solari and Guti are not happy with the coach Luxemburgo (which they are not), and that Luxemburgo does not like them.

Eventually this comes to a head and inflicts the inevitable move. I was right for Solari, and Figo looks right so far and even Guti is looking more probable (He's admitted he's looking and Real Madrid have said they won't stand in the way).

Anyway, just a little more micromangement...

Thanks for the kind words and the interest.
I have actually taken off 3-5 CA, PA from Real Madrid players as well, they were a bit too domineering over the course of a longer test run, to compensate I have bettered all their youth players along with Barcelona's, as many of them are now touted around to other Primera and also a few of the bigger Segunda clubs.

I've added a number of favourite/disliked staff for many of the clubs, but more suggestions are welcome.

Any futher work will mainly go towards the lesser clubs I have to admit as they are the ones in most need of work. I have started working on the Segunda clubs as most of them struggle to score more than 10-15 point in their first season in the Primera which I find toubling.

I have started on the clubs and will move on the individual players soon, and ogf course keeping an eye on the tranfers.

I hope that this work will somehow make it into FM2006, as it is becoming so encompassing that I cannot in all honesty remember all the tweaks anymore.

Have you or anyone else for that matter seen any of the youth working their way into the first team ?
