Ok, I don't know but *maybe* there was a conflict somewhere along the line with an edt file perhaps.

If you edit a player who is listed in an edt file as being with another club, a conflict appears. I don't know what the result is because I don't use edt's or ddt's.

When you say you edited yourself in-game, I assume you mean that you used MCFM, FM Modifer or something else yes?

I used the fm2005 data editor.

I changed the first persons name to mine and contracted me to another club and I tried it and I was in it.

I decided to change his stats and that error appeared

So you made a game and you were in it...

You then tried to edit his stats and THEN make another game yes?

I changed all the stats e.g Technique etc.

It's a shame there's no utility to track changes made in the editor.

Normally editing JUST the main stats shouldn't crash the game. Editing contract data can cause a problem but since you moved the player, made a new game and it worked, I'm sure it can't be that. Do you use edt or ddt files? If so, check for this players name in the and remove it. If you don't use them, check for any edt/ddt files with the players name in.

I dont use EDT or DDT files.

I have an Everton game now and wondering if I change the database so I am in it will it muck up my game
