I use the editor and have created superleagues, added new players, my own updates, my own reserve teams and players and have never had problems.

The key with the editor is not messing around with stuff you do not know about. I would never clear the comp history, thats bound to cause problems.

Reload your backup and do it step by step, either you are unlucky and have had a very randon crash, or you have edited something incorrectly
