Ok... According to my calculations (1000 takes 5m 15s) it will take 22hrs 45mins to complete the database change.
Now, I've got an EXTREMELY fast 64bit PC and if it takes that long to do it on mine, then it'll take longer to do it on most people's!
So, what files would be needed for everyone and who can host them? I'm not bothered about credit for this so you can claim it as your own. I don't want to host the files and see Brinkster raping me for cash!

Jonesy I am happy just to be able to play English leagues. I do anyway haha!
Dan. I am confused by your comments. I am happy to play with all released but do you mean laoding time for a game is over 24 hours? Or do you mean for you to convert it takes 24 hours?
Sorry if i seem such an idiot but i know nothing about computers

I mean that converting the db will take 22-23 hours.
I ran the macro overnight and now players with surnames a-ita are all free transferred.
The loading time 'might' be less because each player does not have to match up with a club but that's an unknown right now.
Anyway, I might run a test game to see if everything's working ok. I should imagine that it is because I haven't changed anything which could cause a crash!

| Fingers crossed that the game runs ok. When I was using the editor I was purely cancelling all contracts, but for some reason the game didn't like this..? As I said before, the English league ran fine, but other nations caused crashes. Can't see why this happens.
Does the macro simply convert the existing database files? In other words, when it has run, can the new database files simply be distributed? This would prevent everyone who wants to play with all players on free transfers having to wait around a day to be able to start a game...

| For iLeague to load, you should only be selecting the English leagues at startup....
Hope this helps.

The macro works on the editor. It simulates a mouse click down and a key stroke down.
All I did was remove the 'tick' for each players contract.
The new db files should be distributed and then whoever wants it is welcome to it. But, as I said before, I refuse to host this on my Brinkster server and because the Mind Compression server is also down, I can't put it there.

That's exactly what I was doing, but manually...!!?? (Took quite a while). But the crashing problem still occurred.
Let me know when it's finished and tested, as I'd be happy to host it...
