I want to use the Revolution Update FM 2005/2006 V1.0 but i do not know how to install it on the game.

Has anyone successfully installed this update on the game and if so please could you give me step by step guide how to do it because i am not any good with the technical side of computers.

I have also read that you will need to reinstall the game and patches to get the update to work is this true.

Why don't you just go to there website?

I don't havr the update but it will not be hard:

Open the program, when asked what location you would like to install to, pick desktop (it might be better to create a new folder first, and install the update to this folder)

When you have selected desktop / new folder, install/extract the files to this location. When finsihed, locate the files on your desktop and copy them all.

Go to your Hard disk, go to program files, sports interactive, football manager 2005, data, db and past the files. You should be asked if you want to overwrite some files, which means you have done it right.


The location I have given you to paste the files is the default location, if you changed this when you installed then you will have to find it.

First of all you have to install the latest patch for your FM 2005. It can be found on http://www.sigames.com in downloads section.

Then download the Revolution Update (if you haven't done it yet) and click on the exe. The main screen appears and it says that you have to choose an destination directory. Now, depending on where you have installed your game you simply have to choose that directory (default should be: CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\db ). Then simply click "Instaluj" wchich stands for "Install" in english and the installation will proceed.

Oh, one more thing: "dalej" means "next" if you havent figuered it out yet
