try this patch for pre-game editor:
Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\fm data editor.exe
And download one of those saved game/realtime editor:MCFM05 & Fm Modifier
in here Unofficial Utilities

There should be a shortcut on your start menu if you are a Windows user.
