So I'm on the editor at the "contract clauses 2" part. I can see Defoes "after league goals" clause, but can't seem to scroll any further down. There is no scroll bar and my page up/dpwn keys have no effecr! What do I do?

ps I have the page on full screen too

you need to edit it in the club's finances, not the players contract

I did exactly what the "sticky" said to do. Went to Portmouth, went to finances, went to contract clauses 2.

Fix - using the data editor provided with the game, load the 8.02 database into the editor. Search in the "clubs" section for "Portsmouth". Go to the "finances" tab, then "contract clauses 2". Find "Jermain Defoe" (5th from bottom in the list). Change "per league appearances" to "after league appearances".

I deleted all of Diarra's clauses, just so I could see Defoe's, this is all I have:

No sign of any "per league appearances" clause

Are you running the Mac version of the game? For some reason, the Mac data update has "after league goals" as a clause, where the PC one had "per league appearance". In both cases, this should actually be "after league appearances" although in the case of the Mac version, it's not anywhere near as damaging to the game.

Long story short, you should change the "after league goals" clause to "after league appearances".
