Nevermind, just checked the XML file. It's 8.0.2 if anyone else is wondering.

I started a game and I've noticed that the names for players of every nationality have been screwed up - Partizan have maybe five players with Serbian names, two more with Korean names, one with Japanese, and scrambled various other languages in there. Interesting that deleting all the people should cause that to come about.

As I've said before: It uses the names from the database to assign regen names. The names are stored in a seperate part where the names and how many players from each country have this name are stored. When you delete a person in the editor it deletes references to that person, including in the name section. Some names will be left in still due to retired players etc. and the Japan situation, but the rest are lost.

If a country doesn't have enough names, the game will use names from other countries that share the same names. Somehow Serbia and Japan/Korea must be linked somehow, maybe by a player who has dual nationality.

Owh, great database and I would look at it and want to play with a fresh player. Another information and new database please inform here. I'm new and need to study.
