Passing styles

can somebody please define the styles of passing

mixed- I understand
short- players will combine in order to get into position to score
direct- dunno
long-probbably players will try to cross over the opposing team with high balls

is this correct?

Short - players do easy passes. good for keeping possession 10 or more passes before they try a shot (Arsenal)

Direct - the aim here is to get the ball to the forwards as quickly as possible. good for counter attacks 2-4 passes till they shot

Long - they boot it and hope for the best
