johnboy14 is infamous around these parts

How do you get the best out of the AMC position. I have steven gerrard or Benevante in this position but none of them seem to shine as much as they should.

If I've one with good creativity, passing, long shots, technique etc, I just put them in a free role with an attacking mentality. It won't work for all, but experiment in pre season.

It might not be the AMC position whats the problem, it could be the rest of the tactic. If the balls are not getting to the AMC, then he obviously is going to be isolated. Or maybbe he does get the ball but has no support, or runners running off him to recieve the ball.
