Finally, i buyed FM 2007 today and very soon i´ll start with Werder Bremen.
I wish to implement 4x4x2 diamond as 4x1x2x1x2 and want constant pressing (high closing down) to take ball quickly and rest (slow tempo) when gain possesion.
So, my question is: which player attributes are more important to an effective CD (Closing Down)? I believe mental stats are required for this kind of job, altough pace/strenght are relevant too. When looking for a new player or choosing from team, which ones could constantly perform high CD?
Note: My main strategy will be designed for this team instructions (generally):
Mentality - mixed/offensive (home) - rule of two
Tempo - slow
Closing down - high (mixed for central players to maintain correct positions on the field; at least 1 CD, DMC, AMC, 1 FC)
Passing - short to mixed
Tight zonal marking for some players
High tackling for some players (others normal)

Pace, decisions, workrate, stamina are the 4 essential attributes I look for. But good alround mental stats are needed in most cases I feel.
Werder Bremen have lots of players who could perform task of high CD: Baumann, Frings, Borowski (center midfield).
However, for a 4x1x2x1x2 tactic i wnat my backs to make forward runs quite often, because my game will be more narrow using Diego quality for Klose and Klasnic (A. Hunt). I must search for two good wings with those attributes you told me.
