Ok, some of you might think i'm being crazy saying this, but when I watch a match in full, I don't notice the difference on the pitch having a defensive line of 1, then changing it to 20 at half time.
I can't see a huge noticeble difference to where the players position themselves.

It looks like it may be another case of tactical rulebook out the window, and use a trial an error system to find what works.
I dont have the game yet, i am still testing on the demo, currently working on an attacking 433 using a global mentality, basically a slow passing game based on possesion, using plenty of width, very much a dutch style tactic, i will dig up the old justified thread see if i have missed anything.
"<Your Team Here> have lost a game they should have won easily"
I'm constantly getting this message at the moment. My possession in games is always around 55% in my favour. Chances created 12+, on target, as little as 2 on a lot of occasions.
The chances being missed are from the edge of the 6 yard box, blasted right over the bar or wide.
Now, I'm pleased that my team are creating all these chances, you would expect this anyway with being Arsenal, but i'm not happy about the chances being missed like this so often.
According to my player's attributes, the strikers finishing ability has improved in training, so i'm not sure if it is a training issue.
Are there any solutions to stop my strikers missing gilt-edged chances?
Does mentality affect how a striker shoots? For example, does a very high mentality cause the striker to lash out at the ball rather than be more composed?

I agree I had a match which pounded the AI's goal and it was creating some gilt-edged chances ala scramjet. I don't know why its difficult to put away so many chances.
Its important to understand the kind of chances created, if its a ball dropped in a packed box I understand. In the last game I recalled that if modifying my training programme had an impact. I may try it again soon, but my patience in playing the demo is wearing thin.
I'm about to chuck the demo and give this whole game a break..its having a ripple effect on the rest of my games as well.

If you want a player to be more composed in front of goal, use a more normal approach for his mentality. As on attacking they shoot far too often for me on my games.
On a side note, Im having a fantastic time with Sheff Utd in the Prem atm. I am playing wide, I'm seeing some lovely overlapping on the wings, even though I didn't set out for that to happen.
I've also got my 2 strikers working the channels really efficently, leaving my AMC free to bang them in. I can't wait to finish the season and bring some new faces in. As this tactic as real potential I feel. Its just my players are really poor atm, however im still lying in 7th.
