After reading Asmodeus thread (Some Training Approaches and Suggestion) it made me look at training in a whole different way..
I never usually understood training and was abit worried about creating my own schedules so i used to always download somebody else's in FM2006. But sence FM2007 has been out i made it top of my list to try and crack the traning..!
Like Asmodeus said not all training regimes will work with every player. So that got me thinking and i began to look at each individual player and thought to myself..(what attributes are the most important to this player) Yes it takes time to look thru your squad but trust me once you look at each individual player and work out what attributes are most important and get them training in those areas you will be amazed just how fast those key attributes improve...
I used to be one of these people, that when i saw a red arrow on a player in the training schedule i would straight away think this regime is not working for him.. But look closely and see what attributes are turning red. For example, Kolo Toure of Arsenal began to have red arrows on Free-Kicks, Corners, Shooting & long shots. Now lets face it when in a million years is Kolo Toure going to need those attributes..?? He's not.. Now because i have trained Kolo and all his team-mates only concentrating on their most important attributes i have a Arsenal squad yet to be beaten in all competition with over half the season gone..
Now im not saying its all down to training as its not, tactic's have a lot to play in it, but the first step is get your players training the way i have said, and you will be surpised the way everything else falls into place.
And its all down to reading Asmodeus thread which made it all clear to me
Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes had to type fast, but i hope your enjoyed reading my views on training and hope it helps you in the right direction
