Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Training Troubles, Please help.

Apologies if anyone has asked this before.

I was having no luck on the "General" Training default with all players stats dropping, so I created my own schedule on which some areas were on medium, some on very heavy etc. Very much trial or error but I noticed a major improvement in stats.

As time goes on some players feel it is too heavy so I have just pulled the slider back a little like you could in 06. However I go back to the training screen and it has gone back to Very Heavy?? There is no option of a confirmation button and as far as I can see no option to just edit and save as that same training session. It seems I will have to create yet another one just to move the slider. Is this the case or can I just toggle and save somehow?

Also injured players. If injured but are still listed on that training session by default are they training when injured or not?

Finally, the Club says I shouldnt have more than 8 coaches. Im West Ham so coaches are awful so only way I can get extra stars is to bring in more coaches and automatically assign them. Does going against a boards recomendation have a bad result to things or does it not matter? I find that unless you have 8 quality coaches it is very difficult to get good stats unless you emloy more.

Thank you for your help.

Known problem this- if you want to decrease the workload then do it exponentially, or export the schedule and re-import it when needed.

When I was Arsenal I managed to get 14 odd coaches before they stopped me. It didn't seem to antagonise them either.

Sorry- if you use the overall training workload slider, it just forgets your settings. The only way to do it is to drop each aspect one-by-one (strength, aerobic etc) until you are at your new preferred workload, or import another schedule that's a bit lighter.

Hopefully the patch'll fix this.

Ah so if you lower the individual settings that does the job rather than a basic slider. Got you, thanks. Any advice on my other points?

Injured players start light and full training automatically.
