Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

well didnt know where to post this. But what is the use of a club having lots of physios? Is there a certain number of physios recommanded based on the number of players?

if so what would be a good ratio players:physios

I don't know, but i was wondering too. I remember in earlier editions you could assign physios to your training and this would make you suffer less injuries.
Do physios still have influence on the amount of injuries you get? I currently have 5 MC's injured in my game and they only train on medium workload.

Physios are important members of the staff. The number of physios recommended by your board, is determined by your clubs stature and their ability to play wages. I am currently managing Liverpool, the board has recommended three physios. This should be sufficient for them to handle the injuries for the 1st, reserves and youth.

malinois: When do your players get their injuries, during matches or training? Injuries are a normal problem in football, your training facilities, skill of your coaches/physios, your style of play, your training schedules and your players injury proness all comes into account.

Faeron, most of them get injured during matches although there is one that seems to get all his injuries in training, he just came out of injury and immediately picked up another one, again in training. I looked for him in the editor (Kevin Geudens) and he has an injury proneness of 5.
But i wasn't complaining, i can live with injuries, it's part of the game But i too was wondering what role physios play in this. I can't remember if it was the first FM or the last CM SI did where you could assign physios to your training schedules in order to get less injuries, but i thought it was a good feature.
In FM2007 i read one tip during the processing that said that physios help you to predict how long an injury will take, but apart from that is there any benefit in signing better physios?
