retired_amysarge Joe Blow Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 0 Rep Power: 0	Managing national teams Do you take a different approach to managing national teams as opposed to clubs? I'm currently managing Heerenveen in the Dutch league and the USA National Team. The US Soccer Federation offered me the job in the middle of 2008 just before qualifiers began even though I was doing only a mediocre job with Heerenveen. I won my first 8 qualifiers playing a 3-5-2, but was never really convinving against much weaker opposition. Are there any special tricks or things I should pay attention to with a National Team, or should I just treat it like a club team?
