Nottingham Forest, a club founded in 1865 and located in the East Midlands, has once been at the top of Europe. In the latest years they have gone from bad to worse, opening up one of the darkest pages of its history.
Currently playing in League One, once winning the European Cups under guidance of Brian Clough.
Are you the one to bring them back to succes ?

The Squad
You get a pretty decent squad and a pretty decent transfer kitty for an English League One side.
The squad itself has some pretty good defenders in the likes of Wes Morgan and Julian Bennet. Followed up by 2 very quick wingers, Kris Commons and Kevin James. The midfield area is the area that needs the most improving.
The striker is pretty decent with the likes of Junior Agogo and Nathan Tyson.
One problem with the squad is that most of the players are ageing. Especially when you look in the reserves you can expect some old veterans.
Improvements Goalkeepers: The goalkeepers look decent although i myself decided to bring in a loanee and a new #1.
Defence: Basically all the spots are covered, but it wouldn't hurt to bring in an extra left back and an extra centre back.
Midfield: An extra right winger is needed and the centre of the pitch definately needs some work as i don't think Ross Gardner and Sammy Clingan will cope. An extra defensive minded player could benefit the team.
Attack: This looks decent, maybe a new striker or a loanee would make you a stronger attacking force.
My improvements
I decided to go for a 4-4-2 with a Defensive Midfielder. As the team doesn't have a defensive midfielder i decided to go on the free agent market. I found: Luigi Di Biagio, Aliou Cissé
Like i said earlier the centre of the parc needed strengthening and i found an attacking minded player on a free: Matt Jansen
Hoping his experience will benefit the team.
As i didn't want to completely rely on a strong defense i also brought in a good goalkeeper, an ex Liverpool player, David Martin.
All friendly games played Friendly results
Lincoln 2-1 Nottm Forest Nottm Forest 0-3 West Ham Nottm Forest 0-0 St. Mirren
Hereford 0-0 Nottm Forest Nottm Forest 2-2 Marseille Nottm Forest 0-1 Plymouth
No win in the friendlys. Offcourse this doesn't mean anything yet. I was happy with the draw with Marseille, the players exelled themselves.
I was a bit upset about Danny Haynes's performances. He is inexperienced btu definately has the quality to dominate in my team.
A player that impressed me on his trial:Shaun Berry
Another player that impressed me on his trial:Graham Austin
Might try to find some cheap back-ups.
Will fine tweak the tactic a bit more as we don't seem to break out.
Will keep you lot posted on whats happening. Maqui_out
