Got a great team in my 2nd season but doing crap.

My defence seems to let in too many goals was thinking of replacing Steven Taylor but who for?
Could anyone give me some advice on what to do!?

Well this should be in the Newcastle thread but I'll help you anyway.

Do not sell or replace Steven Taylor he is fbb. RB is a problem as VDB is not very good there. Have a look at someone like Rafinha or Eboue.

You should also review your tactics as that is probably the problem. Try something new, and note down what has gone well and wrong in a game. Then edit them.

i have vanden borre at RB and hes playing really well, i think it just depends. your back 4 do seem pretty young so maybe you need abit of experience in there, changing formation can be good. when i was Inter Milan and had a young defence, i play with a Defensive Midfielder sitting just infront of the back 4 and it certainly reduced the amount i was conceding.
