I'm not sure if you'd consider it tipping, but when I send my scout out from the lower leagues I just get a handful of reserve squad loanies who won't join - Irrelevemt of what my scouts stats are.

Is there a way to make it so I can just find some average (Well is supposed to be able to kick a ball) players who arn't like that?

The scout should give you of players ranging from 7* to 1*, just look at them all.

Also I'll ask here rather than making a new thread. If I start at a club with no scout, and no-one replies to the advert, but there are many in the staff search screen who want to join my club is it legit to hire them?

Some of the hardcore member will not use the staff search, and would just wait till someone did reply.

I as one of these and finally got a scout after about 8 months.

I've been waiting over a year for a Fitness Coach.

Took me until my 5th season to get a physio that had a physiotherapy rating of more than 1. The guy I until then couldn't even treat a broken nail.

I normally just sit it out until someone applies.

I did use the search screen for a GK coach in the clan game as I felt 2 seasons with no applicants was pushing it.

Meanwhile some of us have to endure useless keepers with even more useless coaches!

(actually, I just placed an ad for a regular coach, then picked the one with the best Gk coaching attribute from the list of those who applied - it's easier than trying to sign a Gk Coach).
