A player left my club, having only been there for 2 seasons making only 5 appearances, yet this is the 8th season later I am still being asked about him before he plays against me!

He has played for 2 different clubs over 7 full seasons since he left my club - and has bagged himself 100 league goals to boot!

I find this quite annoying as well, especially when the player in question was only on trial at the club and never made an appearance.

I manage Excelsior Rotterdam, and in the beginning of the game, I'm a feeder club to Feyenoord.
One season they loaned me two players, which I parked in the reserves, because they were simply not good enough.

They stayed there all season, never even once got promoted or had an appearance. Still, every season one of them opposes me, I get the question, how do I feel about the player!

It is soooo annoying!

I sold Jan Schlaudraff to Werder Bremen and played them 6 times that season, I got asked about him every bloody time. Very frustrating and has continued each season after this.

After 30 seasons, every club in my division had at least one player who used have a contract with me; most of them youth products who never played a single game for me, yet the news item would read that "X is well respected" etc. This feature also had all sorts of bugs, like the game getting it wrong with regards to the time the player spent at my club, etc. This was on the 8.0.1 patch, so maybe 8.0.2 has rectified some of this.
Any way, I think that this message should be reserved for players who made an impact at the club, and not every crappy youth product, else it gets really old really fast.

Yeah it does get annoying after a while, esp if the player was only on trial or you released on a free the day you signed for the club!

you could just click continue and ignore it

I do, and have been at least 4 times a season for the past 7 seasons. Gets a little annoying all this extra needless clicking though.

I think the best way to do it would be to just include players on the clubs favourite personnel list. This means it would only come up a few times and would actually be quite good.
