Weirdly enough in one of my 8.0.1 games (Sheff Utd) I kept getting messages that Mido (who'd never played for the team) was about to face his former club! Bleeding annoying!

1) i feel it should only happen once (the first game back at the club)
2) only if the player was bought or was on a long term loan deal
3) only if this player played a required percentage

Agreed, unless with point one the player was a legend at the club when you were in charge i.e. if Beckham was to play against Man Utd im sure fergie would get asked about him every game.

This always happens to me aswell and it gets very annoying. This needs to be fixed in FM09 surely.
