Am manager of Shrewsbury currently 2nd on the league. Year expectations top half finish. I have a 10000 capacity stadium but my average attendance is only 4500. I think i should have a full stadium. Is this a bug or is there something i could do to have a full stadium?
The sale of season tickets should give you a rough estimate of how much attendance you'd have. If you can sell 75% of your stadium capacity, then you can imagine your stadium will be filled; but if only 50% or less, then it's unlikely unless there's a big match occasion.
I think the original posters' point was that he is 2nd in the league when he is only expected to come top half, so surely more people should be coming down to watch what is an unexpectedly exciting season from his team.
Sunderland in RL are not in an 'exciting' position and that's why they do not fill their stadium.
I don't know exactly what the game takes its attendances from, but IRL there are clubs that won't fill their ground even if they do well. Obviously the RL factors would be the level of the league that they're doing well in to start with, and on the size and infrastructure of the town or city that they're based in. Then you'd probably have to consider any rivals in the area. With Shrewsbury being in a pretty poor league and being a reasonably small place the attendance should be quite limited.

Exactly my point i should have a full stadium since am overachieving. What else do they need to come and watch their team play?

I think you misunderstand. You don't have THAT many fans. Even if you got to the Prem, your attendances wouldn't improve a lot. Look at Wigan, we only get about 15,000 on average yet our ground holds 25,000. Can't just pluck fans out of thin air. The size of your stadium is irrelevant.
