Has anyone seen a Premiership Play-Off on their FM game?
I asked my dad about this play-off in the top division and he told me that this can happen in some cases to decide who wins the league title, but not to decide 5th/6th place in the league?
"If points are equal, the goal difference and then goals scored determine the winner. If still equal, teams are deemed to occupy the same position. If there is a tie for the championship, for relegation, or for qualification to other competitions, a play-off match at a neutral venue decides rank"

No, it nearly happened in Scotland a few years ago when Rangers and Celtic went into the last day of the season on the same points and a similar goal difference. There would have been a one-off match to decide the title if everything was level.
Same rules apply to the English Premier League I believe.

I hope that league table isn't a sign of things to come! Wheres MAN UTD!?!?
United and Chelsea were relegated in 2017, and had a yo-yo effect until about 2027 when they were both relegated to the Championship again and stayed there. Liverpool managed to get promoted in 2037 and won their 19th league title in 2040 (50 years after their last league triumph), I hope it doesn't take us that long!
